Unique Holiday Ornaments

Want to deck your Christmas tree with a special handmade ornament? Maybe you’re looking for something extra special to give as a gift. Either way, you will love making no-sew quilted ornaments at the Cleveland County Arts Council. The council will host the ornament-making event on Dec. 6 and 18 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., and tickets are $40. Materials and refreshments are provided, and you will end up with an amazing ornament to take home with you.

About the Class

Tina Hinojosa will host the no-sew quilted ornaments class. She has a BFA in art with a concentration in metalsmithing and jewelry, so she is definitely up to the task. She’ll be able to provide one-on-one instruction since the class is limited to six people.

While materials will be provided, you can bring your own fabric if you wish. That way, you can easily get the look you’re going for when you make your ornament.

Create a New Holiday Tradition

New-sew quilted ornaments are incredibly easy to make. In fact, they are so easy that once you learn how, you’ll never forget the process. That means you can use this class as a springboard for a new holiday tradition. Come out and learn how to make the ornaments. Then, make them every year. Just imagine all the memories you will create with this tradition. Each year, you will think about what you were doing when you made all the ornaments.

Once your ornament is made, you will be well on your way to having an amazing holiday. You just need one more thing: a new vehicle from Renaldo Honda in Shelby, North Carolina. Your new ride will go with everything this holiday season.
