The Peaks

Crowders Mountain State Park has two gorgeous mountains. Crowders Mountain is 1,625 feet to the peak, while Kings Pinnacle is 1,705 feet to the top. If you can, you should hike to the top of both mountains.

To get to the top of Crowders Mountain, you’ll need to take the Rock Top Trail. It’s 1.5 miles up the mountain, and it’s a strenuous trail. If you can make it, though, you will be treated to a breathtaking view.

You can get to the top of Kings Pinnacle via the Pinnacle Trail. It’s 2 miles one way, and it’s also a strenuous trail with a huge reward when you reach the top. You’re even higher on this trail, and the view is unbelievable.

If you decide to take one of these trails, don’t rush it. Take your time since it’s a tough hike. You will be treated to sights along the way, so it’s worth stopping for a bit and taking it all in.
